Welcome to

Hawaii Online Courses*

(formerly known as E-School)

Hawaii Online Courses is a supplementary program supporting all DOE public and charter schools.

Our standards-aligned online courses, taught by Hawaii qualified teachers, are developed in-house or from quality vetted online content providers such as FlexPoint (Florida Virtual Schools) and CodeHS.

Round 1: April 11 (8:30 a.m.) - May 9 (2:30 p.m.)

Round 2: August 5 (8:30 a.m.) – August 8 (2:30 p.m.)

Primary schools register students for courses. Please contact your school counselor to enroll. New students must pass the mandatory orientation, or enrollment will be canceled. Students may take a maximum of two classes per semester.

April 8 (8:30 a.m.) - April 26 (2:30 p.m.)

Registration is closed.

HOC is unable to accommodate additional requests, as we have hundreds on the waitlist.

Please reach out to other official DOE summer schools.

Kaimuki High School, Hawaii Tech Academy, and Myron B. Thompson offer a virtual program.

To participate in Hawaii Online Courses, there are certain policies that students are expected to abide by.

Canvas is the learning management system used for all courses.
